Responsibilities

• Define event objectives, target audience, themes, and concepts.
• Develop and control budgets, manage expenses, and negotiate contracts.
• Source, book, and manage venues, caterers, entertainment, tech, etc.
• Handle venue setup, layouts, transportation, permits, and on-site operations.
• Advertise events, manage communications, and attract attendees/sponsors.
• Act as primary contact, understand client needs, and report progress.
• Oversee setup, manage staff, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth flow.
• Evaluate success, gather feedback, and prepare reports.
• Come up with suggestions to enhance the event's success.
• Manage and coordinate a team of staff, giving full briefings and delegating work.
