Job summary

A leading chemical distribution company is seeking an Account Manager responsible for managing and growing customer accounts in Grande Prairie and surrounding areas. You will utilize a consultative selling process to identify new business opportunities, maintain customer relationships, and coordinate with internal departments to ensure excellent service. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant field and 2-3 years of sales experience. The position requires proactive communication skills and self-motivation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years previous sales and/or customer facing experience.
  • Degree or diploma in Chemistry, Business, or similar.
  • Chemical sales experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Plan customer visits in advance.
  • Call on established and prospective customers.
  • Grow our industrial footprint in the area.
  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Operations.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com for managing customer information.
