S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in? As a Storekeeper – Facilities, you will be responsible for the accurate stocking and management of all parts relevant to the Facilities department in the designated stockrooms. This includes receiving, verifying, cycle counting, issuing, organizing, and tracking materials through the CMMS system.

You will ensure proper storage, labelling, and security of inventory while maintaining the highest level of cleanliness and organization in the work area. The role also involves coordination with suppliers, Maintenance Coordinators, and other departments to ensure materials are available when required.

Work Arrangement: Onsite

Shift: Day (Mon - Fri, 6:30 am - 3 pm)

Work Location: 90 Belfield Rd., Etobicoke M9W 1G4

Role

As a Storekeeper, you will…

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials against purchase orders and report discrepancies or damages.
  • Unpack and issue material into the stockrooms following proper documentation.
  • Dispose of packaging materials and maintain stockroom cleanliness.
  • Issue material out of stockrooms following the material request process.
  • Identify, label, and organize stock by type, usage, and storage requirements.
  • Perform cycle counts and reconcile inventory records.
  • Conduct CMMS transactions for inventory depletion, adjustments, and replenishment.
  • Communicate with Maintenance Coordinators for ordering stock and restocking critical spares.
  • Update trigger levels for re-ordering and monitor minimum stock requirements.
  • Maintain records of receipts, issues, and returns; prepare regular inventory reports.
  • Support internal and external inventory audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials.
  • Provide support for urgent or emergency breakdown requests by locating and issuing required parts promptly
Qualifications

  • Availability to work the day shift.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow standard practices, procedures, and sequences with minimal supervision.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and safely operate material handling equipment (forklift license is an asset).
  • Computer proficiency with CMMS systems (experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems is an asset).
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
  • 2–3 years of experience in inventory, storekeeping, or materials management (preferably in facilities or maintenance-related industries).
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices, including safe handling of equipment and materials.
