Job description

We're looking for a motivated Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, lead a small team, and drive sales at our Carberry, Manitoba location (18 Simcoe St). This hands‑on role requires a mix of sales skills, team leadership, and customer service, all while helping the store meet its sales goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and motivate a small team.
  • Oversee scheduling and staffing to ensure adequate coverage during peak and off‑peak hours.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to set goals, review performance, and discuss new sales strategies.
  • Drive sales by engaging with customers, promoting products, and meeting sales targets.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure the team provides a high level of customer satisfaction by providing excellent service and addressing customer complaints and issues promptly.
  • Oversee customer inquiries, ensuring they are handled with professionalism and attention to detail.
  • Build and maintain productive, long‑term relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
Store Operations & Inventory
  • Ensure that the store is consistently clean, organized, and visually appealing, aligning with the company's brand standards.
  • Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving shipments, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure that products are accurately priced, properly tagged, and effectively displayed, and that stock levels meet customer demand.
Administrative & Reporting
  • Manage daily sales reports and track store performance, ensuring accurate data entry and up‑to‑date information.
  • Process POS transactions, handle returns, and manage special orders for customers.
  • Ensure compliance with store policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Wear multiple hats as needed, taking on various roles to support the store's success (e.g., assisting with product demonstrations, handling customer complaints, managing inventory, managing staff, assisting in the yard, etc.).
  • Take initiative in suggesting ways to improve store design, sales tactics, and marketing activities.
