Qualifications

  • Trade Certification in Welding/Steel Fitting with valid tickets/certifications.
  • Journeyperson or Red Seal are considered an asset.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills, and experience with rigging.
  • Specialty tickets (aluminum, stainless, pipe, etc.) are considered an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
  • Pre-Employment Training in In Fitting is preferred.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work varied shifts (day, night, weekends).
  • Willing to travel.

Responsibilities

  • Safe use of power tools and other demolition tools and equipment.
  • Comfortable working at heights.
  • Material handling using forklifts or other equipment as needed.
  • Familiar with safe lifting and rigging practices.
  • Checking equipment to ensure inspections have not expired.
  • Provide prompt and superior customer service.
