  • Maintain a monthly invoice checklist to ensure completeness and prompt processing.
  • Review and process expense reports from company credit cards and employees ensuring proper coding and policy compliance.
  • Process weekly payroll through ADP, post entries into Sage and perform reconciliations.
  • Execute month-end close procedures and submit filings such as EHT, HST and corporate tax returns within regulatory deadlines.
  • Track and review operational expenses (e.g. legal, audit, donations, renovations); maintain payment schedules and reconcile against approved quotes.
  • Keep accurate electronic records including invoices and statements of account.
  • Assist in preparing monthly trial balances, income statements and year-end financial statements.
  • Support the Compliance Group with regulatory filings checklists, logs and recordkeeping across monthly, quarterly and annual cycles.
  • Liaise with CRA on audits and ad hoc requests providing timely updates to the team.
  • Contribute to annual audit preparation and reporting.
  • Draft and organize process documents, memos and summary reports on internal servers.
  • Provide backup support to team members as needed.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects based on the firm's evolving needs.
