Job description
Description of Duties
  • Foster the adoption of Agile principles and skills across teams and departments, aligning delivery practices with enterprise strategy.
  • Coach Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and Agile teams to deepen Agile maturity and cultivate high-performing, self-organizing teams.
  • Educate and coach teams and leaders on the uptake and adoption of Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban) tailored to organizational needs.
  • Manage and facilitate Agile ceremonies, workshops, and other key events.
  • Identify and remove systemic impediments to Agile delivery; influence leadership to support change.
  • Develop and manage Agile growth and maturity backlogs, implementation plans, and success metrics.
  • Deliver training to build Agile capability across the organization.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration.
Required Experience
  • 8–10 years of experience in Agile environments, including enterprise-level coaching and training.
  • Proven experience with the Scrum and Kanban Agile frameworks.
  • Must have experience coaching mature Agile teams—not teams new to Agile.
  • Candidates must show experience helping long-established Agile teams refine practices, deepen Agile principles, and advance maturity.
  • Experience demonstrating servant leadership and guiding mature teams through continuous improvement cycles.
Required Skills
  • Deep expertise in Agile principles, frameworks, and product-centric delivery models.
  • Strong facilitation, mentoring, and communication skills across all organizational levels.
  • Ability to influence change, cross-functional collaboration, resolve complex impediments, and drive strategic alignment.
  • Experience with Agile metrics.
  • Supplemental training on Agile delivery and/or coaching would be considered an asset.
  • Advanced facilitation skills for leading Agile ceremonies, design-thinking workshops, and problem-solving sessions with experienced Agile teams.
  • Ability to measure Agile maturity improvements and articulate how coaching actions improved team value delivery

Note - This role is for a hands‑on Agile Coach with extensive experience in both Agile Coaching and Scrum Master roles—not a Project Manager.

In your proposal, candidates must demonstrate:
  • Direct experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
  • Coaching and developing Agile teams beyond the basics of framework implementation.
  • Applying Agile principles in daily delivery work—not just managing projects using Agile terminology.
  • Experience coaching teams that already have years of Agile practice (some over a decade).
  • Not focusing on delivery roadmaps, timelines, budgets, risk backlogs, or dependency management.
  • Not limited to short-term Agile transformation engagements (<2 years).
  • Experience goes beyond teaching frameworks/tools like Jira, PI planning, or backlog creation—teams already know these.

We are looking for someone who can help mature teams refine and elevate their Agile mindset, practices, and collaboration, not implement Agile from scratch.
