A regional health authority is seeking a Casual Speech-Language Pathologist for Vernon Jubilee Hospital to support outpatient dysphagia and provide communication support, with some acute care responsibilities. We are hiring a Casual Speech‑Language Pathologist for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital. This position supports outpatient dysphagia, communication support and may also be required for acute care coverage.
Days of Work: Monday to Friday as needed
Shift times/Hours of work: 08:00 - 16:00 as needed

The Speech‑Language Pathologist is an autonomous professional who has expertise in typical development and disorders of communication as well as assessment and intervention in these areas. The Speech‑Language Pathologist may work directly with clients and/or with their caregivers or other persons who regularly interact with them for the purpose of creating environments that promote optimal communication. The Speech‑Language Pathologist contributes to the organization and the overall goals of the department/program quality assurance initiatives, meetings, research and education.
