We work closely as a small team and value clear communication, curiosity, and follow-through.

Why is this role open

We’re bringing on a contract Sourcing Specialist to support active searches and ongoing talent mapping during a busy period. This is a 3-month contract role focused on helping us identify and engage high-quality candidates, while keeping our database and sourcing systems clean and up to date. There is potential for contract extension or a full-time position based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates for architecture, engineering, and construction roles using LinkedIn, job boards, and internal tools
• Build targeted talent lists based on role requirements and firm culture
• Write and send thoughtful outreach messages (no spammy templates)
• Track sourcing activity and candidate responses accurately in our ATS
• Conduct light screening and share notes with the recruiting team
• Support ongoing pipeline building for current and future searches
• Keep candidate information organized and up to date

Must-haves

• Previous experience in recruiting, sourcing, or sales (agency or in-house)
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable using LinkedIn for sourcing and outreach
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage multiple searches at once
• Interest in the architecture, design, or construction industry
• Able to commit to the full 3-month contract

Nice-to-haves

• Experience sourcing for technical or AEC roles
• Familiarity with ATS or CRM systems
• Experience working remotely with a small team
• Curiosity about talent markets and candidate motivations

Remote/Hybrid

Fully Remote. Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.

Compensation

Contract role for 3 months at $20/hour.
