Job description
Overview

Our client, a leading edge fertility clinic located in our nation\'s capital, is seeking a Sonographer on a part-time basis.

Schedule: Monday 7am - 10am; Tuesday 7am - 10am; Thursday 7am - 10am; Friday 7am - 10am. With possibility for additional hours and possibility for full time by end of 2025.

Role Overview
  • Assist doctors in ultrasound-guided procedures such as sonohysterogram, hysteroscopy, endometrial biopsy.
  • Provide optimum patient-centered care and demonstrate a professional manner in the work setting.
  • Report, review, and record findings of ultrasound scans to provide accurate patient diagnosis. Consult with physicians as needed about ultrasound results.
  • Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment through participation in Quality Control and Quality Assurance tests.
  • Perform and assess ultrasound examinations (Transabdominal and Transvaginal) for infertility patients, 1st-trimester pregnancy evaluation, endovaginal scan, follicular monitoring, obstetrical scanning (early pregnancy), pelvic ultrasound for gynecology patients.
  • Actively participate in team building concepts and development of departmental goals.
  • Work independently without supervision.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate
  • Completion of an accredited degree/post-diploma Ultrasound program or recognized equivalent preferred.
  • CMRITO certified.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience performing and assessing ultrasound examinations, including proficiency in transabdominal and transvaginal scanning, sonohysterograms, endovaginal scans, follicular monitoring, early pregnancy obstetric scanning, and pelvic ultrasounds for gynecological patients.
  • Good judgment to ensure work is always performed in the best interest and safety of the patient and the team.
  • Strong technical skills and image quality.
  • Effective time management skills, ability to organize work, and set priorities.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
  • Excellent problem-solving and recognition skills.

$28 - $40 an hour
