Job summary

A major healthcare institution in Ottawa is seeking a qualified medical professional for a temporary position until approximately June 01, 2026. The role requires registration with the CMRITO and excellent skills in assisting invasive procedures, along with proficiency in English and French. Qualifications

Position Information

Temporary position until approximately June 01, 2026.

Rotation / Shifts

Days and evenings, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements
  • Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO).
  • Eligible for registration with Sonography Canada and/or the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
  • Ability to assist in invasive procedures.
  • Knowledge of septic and aseptic techniques.
  • Good knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound equipment both mobile and static.
  • Certification in CPR and/or First Aid.
  • Good written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Sound judgement and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Progressive experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Doppler examinations as it applies to Fetal Maternal pathology and to Gynecology.
  • Certification by Sonography Canada.
  • NT Certification.
  • Proficiency in English and French - oral expression (advanced level) and comprehension (advanced level).
