• Job Title: Guidewire Developer
• Location: Markham, Ontario, CA
• Working Model: Hybrid
  • Onsite: 3 days in office
  • Work from Office: 2 days mandatory Tue & Wed
  • 1 day flexible: Mon, Thu, or Fri
• Required Experience: 7+ years
• Technical Skills (Primary):
• Experience in Guidewire Application Development (10+ years)
• Guidewire Associate Certification; Guidewire Integration and PolicyCenter experience
• Expertise in GOSU language configuration and coding using Guidewire tools
• Experience with Guidewire Batch and predefined plugins
• Ability to read code in other languages and reverse engineer products
• Agile software development; experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence
• Domain knowledge in Property Casualty Insurance
• Guidewire development experience coding RESTful APIs; multiple languages (C, Java, Python, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with Guidewire Cloud APIs
• Familiarity with synchronous and asynchronous API calls, OAuth 2.0, pagination, error handling
• Experience with Integration Gateway; design, development and management of Guidewire Integration Gateway
• Event-driven architecture; App Events and Event Driven Architecture; Cloud App Events and PubSub
• 14+ years combined experience in Guidewire and related technologies (preferred)
• Guidewire Certification: Guidewire Ace Certification (preferably Integration) and Guidewire Billing Center configuration
• Experience writing automated GUnit tests for integrations
• 7+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL (MS SQL Server, Transact-SQL)
• Additional Skills: Java, AWS Cloud Architecture, Guidewire-ClaimCenter, -PolicyCenter, -BillingCenter, -Integration
