Overview

Software and Network Security Analyst

SES is currently seeking a highly qualified security analyst to join its research and development staff. The successful candidate will conduct security assessments by probing for security vulnerabilities in desktop applications, networks and software systems. The successful candidate shall perform one or more of the following functions:

Responsibilities
  • Assist in securing our IT infrastructure.
  • Assist in securing desktop software development, as well as identifying security threats.
  • Analyze the security measures already implemented and determine how effective they are.
  • Recommend changes that will improve every aspect of company security.
  • Keep up to date with the latest security and technology developments.
  • Research and evaluate emerging cyber security threats and ways to manage them.
Qualifications
  • Engineering or Bachelor degree in computer science.
  • OSCP or CEH certifications (other recognized certifications could be considered as well).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Very good knowledge of English due to documentation and communications with customers who are about 95% outside Quebec.
Additional Skills of Interest
  • Master any of these languages and / or technologies: .NET, Python, Intel Fortran 2008+, Visual Studio, Open-Vino and Intel One-API.
