Social Media & Brand Manager - Laurent Dagenais

We’re looking for a strategic, creative, and data-driven Social Media & Brand Manager to join the core team of Chef Laurent Dagenais. A top-tier chef and entertainer, Laurent’s charm lies in his authenticity, and as his audience grows, so does our appetite to expand. We are seeking a long-term partner to lead social growth strategy, content ideation, community connection, and current plus new revenue stream creation. From reporting insights to leveraging AI tools for smarter content, you’ll scale his presence across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram and take charge of day-to-day execution from authentic community engagement to affiliate-driven content strategies that convert.

Working closely with Dulcedo and Laurent’s content production team, this role is ideal for someone with a proven track record in social media growth who’s ready to elevate impact alongside one of the best in the game.

Scope of Work
  • Own the growth strategy for social media channels with a focus on expanding reach and audience engagement.
  • Ideate original, high-performing content across platforms, from concept to execution.
  • Utilize AI tools to streamline content development, ideation, and performance optimization.

  • Lead monthly content audits and performance reports, offering insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Manage day-to-day community engagement, ensuring timely and thoughtful interaction with followers.
  • Maintain and organize content calendars, ensuring alignment with growth goals and brand priorities.
  • Act as a strategic partner to Laurent’s team: Dulcedo & production team, offering ideas, structure, and guidance.
  • Continuously monitor trends and platform updates to ensure content remains relevant and competitive.
  • Manage internal software such as FRAME, Notion, Many Chats, etc.
Your Profile
  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management & content strategy, freelance or in-house.
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media channels through strategic content planning and execution.
  • Experience with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, content planning platforms) to support ideation, scriptwriting, and content optimization.
  • Strong understanding of affiliate marketing and how content drives conversions.
  • Proven ability to independently manage community engagement with empathy, consistency, and professionalism.
  • Comfortable producing short-form content (visuals, copy, hooks) tailored to different platforms.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to create performance reports and offer actionable insights.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to self-direct with minimal supervision.
  • Up to date on social trends, digital culture, and creator economy dynamics.
  • Bilingualism in French is an asset, but not required.
Work Setup & Compensation

This is a part-time contract role: 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling.

Compensation is up to $50 / hour, based on experience and skillset.

We’re looking to welcome a new long-term team member who will play a strategic role in Laurent’s continued success, collaborating with LD’s Dulcedo team in a highly collaborative, creative environment. We’re seeking someone proactive, reliable, and passionate about food, content, and digital growth.
