WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

The purpose of this position is to create and provide daily maintenance on the skating trail. This maintenance position is critical to providing a safe and fun experience for guests while on the skating trail.

  • Build and maintain the ice surface of an outdoor skating trail using a variety of equipment, including but not limited to tractors, snow blowers, Zamboni, and other tools.
  • Responsible for all snow removal around the property including guest-facing areas and parking facilities, and conditioning of the ice surface daily.
  • Follow health and safety training and best practices to complete work
  • Interact with guests by answering questions in a friendly manner.
  • Remove debris from property, including ice surface; keep a clean and tidy workspace
WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
  • Passion to work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, freezing temperatures, etc.).
  • Valid Ontario Driver's License and a clean driver's abstract
  • Available to do 12-hour shifts 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am
  • Previous knowledge of operating equipment is an asset
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Must have reliable transportation. The skating trail is located at the Top of Blue Mountain Ski Hill; comfortable traveling in all weather conditions
