About The Job

As a Site Supervisor you will be responsible for the following:

  • Ensure that all projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, design drawings and applicable codes in order to maintain high quality standards, noting any and all omissions or discrepancies contained therein.
  • Supervise trades and sub-traders, lead daily on-site project meetings with appropriate stakeholders and maintain a thorough Superintendent’s daily report that accurately tracks construction site progress, events, inspections (SIR Corp., City and Municipal), and other relevant information.
  • Demonstrate leadership in health, safety and environmental protection (applying and promoting overall compliance of Health and Safety standards with all employees and subcontractors on the project) and report/document all injuries and complete a Notice of Injury report.
  • Coordinate with LL property management as required throughout the project.
  • Work with the project team and department coordinator to issue material and service purchase orders and confirm receipt of materials and return of equipment.
  • Liaise and support restaurant operations, culinary and IT teams to aid in seamless execution with proper communication and planning.
  • Ensure the timely sharing of information and communication appropriately with all levels of management and team members.
About You
  • Post‑secondary education with courses in construction management an asset.
  • Greater than 10 years of hospitality construction experience or equivalent.
  • Advanced knowledge of and ability to interpret drawings with analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of bar and kitchen equipment costs for hospitality builds and renovations.
  • Requires effective and specialized interpersonal skills to resolve situations where there may be some level of conflict, stress or uncertainty.
  • Provides solutions by using imaginative approaches where constructive thinking and innovation are required.
  • Adaptable to multiple changes in priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience working with numerous stakeholders at various levels of management.
  • A self‑starter with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and tight deadlines. Contract/subcontract coordination including assembling and issuing RFQ/RFPs.
  • Able to work with diverse personalities and styles.
  • Communicates with clarity, verbally and in one on one or group situations.
  • Communicates well in writing by composing clear documents and emails.
  • Provides technical information to fellow colleagues in a clear and understandable manner. Required to travel to site locations.
