SERVICE TECHNICIAN II - ON CALL - Serving Santa Maria and Lompoc, CA (Part-Time)
The On-Call Service Technician II provides day-to-day maintenance support to multiple communities of different sizes and style throughout the portfolio as needed. The On-Call Service Technician will have varying shift availability for shifts from 8am to 8pm, Monday-Sunday and will work closely with the on-site Service Technicians to diagnosis, repair, turn, and service units according to company standards. The On-Call Service Technician role will be available to support the properties within their region as needed. Interfaces with external/internal customers and residents on a regular basis. On-call responsibilities may involve troubleshooting technical problems, responding to customer inquiries, and coordinating with other teams outside of regular work hours. This is an on-call position with varying hours, requiring flexibility to respond to urgent issues outside of your regular schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Ability to create and/or write reports, business correspondence, and/or procedural manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS AND REASONING ABILITY
Ability to calculate figures and perform basic math functions. Ability to interpret various instructions furnished in written, oral or schedule form.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, repetitive wrist movements, talk, hear, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may be required to stand for extended periods. The employee may occasionally lift, push, pull, carry and/or move up to 85 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
