Position: Service-Learning Coordinator (Non-teaching Role)

Time Type: Part-Time (30% FTE)

White Rock Christian Academy (WRCA) is seeking a passionate and organized Service-Learning Coordinator to support our school’s vision for locally and globally engaged students. This is a part‑time position (approximately 30% FTE) with flexible working hours, beginning in January 2026.

The Service‑Learning Coordinator plays a key role in building meaningful community partnerships, supporting international Transformational Learning Opportunities (TLOs), and helping cultivate a culture of service across the school.

Key Responsibilities

Local Service Partnerships

  • Lead the planning and implementation of Service Week (March 2026).
  • Build and maintain relationships with local charities, ministries, and community organizations.
  • Coordinate regular student service opportunities and experiences throughout the year.

International Transformational Learning Opportunities (TLOs)

  • Support the smooth execution of international TLO trips by coordinating logistics, managing budgets, handling required paperwork, and ensuring key planning steps are completed on schedule.
  • Co-host informational evenings for parents and students preparing for these trips. (Much of the foundational planning is already completed; the primary focus is ensuring the planned trips run smoothly and efficiently.)
  • Collaborate with the Student Life Coordinator to assist in planning and implementing chapel & homeroom programs.
