PALFINGER Marine is looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in Perth, Australia. You’ll play a key role in maintaining and servicing life‑saving appliances and marine equipment.

Your Responsibilities

• Provide service solutions to deck equipment and lifesaving appliances which includes commissioning, inspection, maintenance, spare parts repair, refurbishment, upgrades, hook replacement, etc.
• Familiarize with local shipyards and port procedures
• Utilize electronic, hydraulic and mechanical theory along with related knowledge to test and modify operational electrical machinery
• Apply electronic control equipment and circuitry, hydraulic circuits and components and mechanical equipment to maintain and enhance system functionality
• Complete thorough service reports to ensure all activities are documented and communicated effectively

Your Qualifications

• Relevant technical qualification or experience
• Experience in marine or offshore service engineering
• Any relevant offshore and health certificates, fall protection training or willingness to attend
• Willingness to travel and work offshore as requiredfunctionality
