Overview

Senior Solutions Designer role for ThinkBeyond Inc. via Jobs via Dice. Location: 222 Jarvis St, Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote). Start Date: June 30, 2025. End Date: March 31, 2026 (Extension Probable). Hours: 7.25 hours/day | 210 Business Days. Security Clearance: Not Required.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and execution for modernization initiatives
• Develop detailed design documentation and ensure regular updates
• Guide development teams in implementing scalable, secure solutions
• Provide mentorship and technical leadership across cross-functional teams
• Assist in troubleshooting, production support, and day-to-day operations
• Ensure compliance with OPS architecture standards, policies, and best practices

Must Have Skills

• 10+ years of backend design & development (REST, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, PL / SQL)
• Strong experience in system integration & API integration
• Expertise with Spring Framework (Spring Integration)
• Knowledge of message-oriented middleware (IBM App Connect Enterprise, MuleSoft, JMS, AMQP, REST)
• Hands-on experience with Azure integration solutions
• Strong background in data modeling & databases (Oracle, SQL Server)
• Experience designing solutions using UML, JEE, Service Bus, ETL

Other Requirements

• Proven system analysis & requirements gathering expertise
• Strong communication, facilitation & leadership skills
• Experience presenting prototypes to senior stakeholders
• Public sector / OPS experience is a strong asset
