Senior Software Engineer, Frontend (Platform)

This role focuses on building and maintaining a robust frontend platform that supports all frontend development, including architecture, design patterns, frameworks, libraries, UI components, development environments, tools, and deployment processes. The Frontend Platform team ensures performance, security, and best practices, promoting clear ownership and high-quality, inclusive frontend solutions that meet Cresta’s diverse business needs.

Responsibilities:
  • Play a substantial role in the platform frontend engineering team.
  • Work with Cresta product and engineering teams to build and continuously improve the Cresta platform and new product requirements.
  • Stay closely with customers and their requirements, analyze technical tradeoffs, own customer-facing deliverables.
  • Develop high quality, well designed, reusable, and well-tested system components, and contribute to overall system designs.
  • Identify product improvement opportunities and generate ideas.
  • Demonstrate engineering best practices in deliverables and daily work; uphold others to the same high standards.
  • Provide technical ownership in a substantial part of the Cresta product and platform.
  • Contribute to building the best-in-class company and product.
What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; strong CS fundamentals.
  • 8+ years of experience in relevant domains.
  • Very solid coding skills.
  • Familiar with React or Angular; experience with at least one in large-scale consumer-facing products.
  • Proficient in designing and maintaining clear frontend architecture.
  • Experience as a technical lead of frontend stack supporting various product features.

Compensation for this position includes base salary, equity, and a variety of benefits.
