Job description

Our Vancouver-based client is seeking an experienced Senior SAP Syniti Data Lead contractor to join their project immediately for a long-term engagement. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years of SAP MDM experience, with 2+ end-to-end implementations. They will actively contribute to developing methodologies, tools, approaches, thought leadership, and accelerators. The role involves participating in large-scale SAP solution implementations in a client-facing capacity, demonstrating both functional and technical leadership, and collaborating to solve complex client challenges. The position requires approximately 20-30% travel to meet client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mandatory experience with Syniti ADMM (Advanced Data Migration and Management).
• Hands-on skills and extensive experience in data migration (ETLV) in S/4HANA using Syniti ADMM.
• Knowledge of various S/4HANA data loading methods (IDOCs, LTMC / LTMOM, LSMW, and custom programs).
• Experience in setting up S/4HANA data migration technical architecture using Syniti ADMM and providing technical leadership to the data conversion development team.
• Understanding of SAP data conversion lifecycle, including data readiness, design, build, testing, mock loads, validation, and cutover.
• Proficiency in source data analysis using SQL or other querying tools, with experience in SAP data profiling and cleansing (de-duplication, matching/merging, standardization, rationalization).
• Deep knowledge of key SAP objects (e.g., MM, BP, Equipment, Functional Locations, BOMs) and working knowledge of SAP modules such as Record to Report (FI, CO), Procure to Pay (MM, IM, EWM).
• Experience with Project Systems, Portfolio and Project Management, Plant Maintenance, and Quality Management modules.
• Experience delivering SAP data conversion solutions for energy sector clients is a plus.
• Skills in Data Migration, MDM / MDG, BODS, ADMM, iDOC / BAPI, LTMC, LTMOM.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
