We are seeking a full-time Senior QA Engineer to be part of our Implementation team. As the QA Engineer at OneVest, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and scalability of our wealth management platform for our customers. You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks, while also contributing to manual testing efforts when needed. This role is ideal for someone passionate about quality, automation, and delivering exceptional client experiences.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Engage in project mobilization: Participate in internal hand‑off sessions with Presales and Solutions Architects.
  • Test planning: Collaborate with solutions architects, product managers, implementation teams, and customers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
  • Functional test cases: Collaborate with implementation teams and customers to create test cases against functional requirements.
  • Non‑Functional test cases: Collaborate with implementation teams and customers to create test cases against non‑functional requirements.
  • Test case execution: Execute functional, non‑functional, integration, and regression tests across web and API layers.
  • Bug management: Identify, document, and track bugs; work with engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Project tracking: Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand‑ups to ensure QA coverage.
  • Test automation frameworks: Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with automated testing integration.
  • Customer UAT: Support customers user acceptance testing by helping the customer QA or business teams triage issues and maintain shared bug tracking logs.
  • Documentation: Contribute to QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and release notes.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement: Advocate for quality best practices and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Transition Live Customers: Collaborate with internal teams (Product & Technology, Implementation, Revenue) to improve the seamless transition of the customer from implementation to business as usual.
  • Personal time management: Manage & prioritize multiple fast‑paced projects at any given time.
  • Mentor: Mentor QA Engineers to help them learn the Wealth Management industry and grow their testing skills.
Must Haves:
  • Post‑secondary education in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Computer Science, or similar.
  • 7+ years of experience in Fintech, Consulting in Financial Services, or Wealth Management, or similar as a software QA engineer.
  • Experience creating test plans, test cases, and test automation, in collaboration with internal teams and customers.
  • Understanding of the types of testing (unit, integration, functional, non‑functional, etc.), testing cycles, and bug management techniques.
  • Proficiency in automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to gather, analyze, and manipulate large datasets for testing.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and tools like Postman or Swagger.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
  • Experience in client‑facing roles, ideally as part of implementation of customer success teams.
Nice to Haves:
  • Experience as a Quality Analyst specifically at other fintech companies.
  • Experience participating in Agile deliveries and utilizing tooling such as Asana, Jira, or Salesforce.
  • Implementations of financial technology products that are configurable to customer’s requirements.
  • Fluent in French.
