Project Leadership & Engineering Oversight

  • Oversee the replacement of a 35‑tonne HHPD heat exchanger and associated high‑alloy piping systems.
  • Provide technical direction and decision‑making support to resolve complex field and design issues during execution.
Turnaround & Construction Execution
  • Lead Turnaround coordination to ensure crane movements, welding activities (including PWHT and NDE), refractory, insulation, and catalyst replacement are executed safely and within the required outage duration.
  • Coordinate multiple contractors and disciplines to manage simultaneous work fronts and critical path activities.
  • Review and approve construction work plans, lifting studies, sequencing, and execution strategies.
Quality, Safety & Risk Management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and site safety requirements throughout execution.
  • Oversee quality assurance activities including weld quality, NDE results, PWHT execution, and mechanical completion.
  • Lead risk assessments, field‑level hazard reviews, and management of change processes for assigned scopes.
Cost, Schedule & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Manage cost control, progress tracking, and schedule performance for assigned Turnaround scopes.
  • Support procurement activities, material readiness, and contractor performance management.
  • Serve as a key interface between site operations, inspection, client stakeholders, and the project management team.

  • Extensive experience leading Turnarounds, shutdowns, or major mechanical equipment replacements.
  • Strong technical knowledge of reformers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, and high‑alloy materials.
  • Demonstrated expertise with welding processes, PWHT, NDE, and mechanical quality management.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage contractors, influence stakeholders, and make sound technical decisions under schedule pressure.
  • Proficiency with general engineering, scheduling, and project controls software tools.
