25WD94467, Senior Product Manager – AEC Data (Information Requirements)
Position Overview
Join Autodesk’s AEC Data team as a Senior Product Manager, where your primary focus will be evolving the Parameters Service to better serve existing customers and to establish a robust foundation for a new Information Requirements application. This role will enable Autodesk customers to structure their data consistently, ensuring trust and facilitating seamless communication of requirements across project stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Product Vision & Strategy: Develop and execute a clear product vision for the Parameters Service and Information Requirements application, aligned with Autodesk’s AEC Data Platform strategy and customer needs.
- Customer-Centric Development: Engage with customers and industry stakeholders to understand workflows, pain points, and requirements. Translate insights into actionable product features that drive value and adoption.
- Roadmap & Delivery: Define and maintain a product roadmap, prioritise initiatives that enhance data consistency, interoperability, and trust. Collaborate with the Product Owner and scrum teams to ensure successful delivery of product milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, and other product teams to deliver integrated solutions. Foster strong relationships across the AEC Data Platform, ensuring alignment and effective execution.
- Data Standards & Governance: Champion the adoption of data standards and best practices, supporting customers in structuring and managing information requirements across projects and platforms.
- Performance & Continuous Improvement: Define and monitor key metrics to assess product performance, user engagement, and business impact. Use data-driven insights to iterate and improve the product offering.
- Market & Competitive Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. Identify opportunities for differentiation and innovation within the AEC data ecosystem.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally within enterprise software, data platforms, or AEC/BIM environments.
- Strong understanding of data management, information requirements, and cloud-based SaaS solutions.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product owners, stakeholders) in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to translate complex customer needs into clear product requirements and deliverables, and prioritize accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the AEC industry, including BIM and related design workflows.
- Understanding of Information Management principles; ISO 19650 certification highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Autodesk products (Construction Cloud, Revit, Civil 3D, AutoCAD) and workflows desirable.
- Experience in platform or API-first product development.
- Proven ability to deliver scalable products with strong product-market fit.
