Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day operations across multiple departments, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and service excellence.
  • Own the operational P&L and drive revenue management strategies to meet and exceed gross margin targets.
  • Set and communicate clear KPIs for managers, promoting accountability and performance across all teams.
  • Optimize workflows and documentation, including onboarding, training, and standard operating procedures.
  • Manage and grow vendor partnerships, including qualification, utilization, and performance oversight.
  • Provide 24/7 support for high-risk or escalated claims and lead the Command Centre response during catastrophic events.
  • Ensure compliance with provincial regulations (e.g., RTA) and internal quality standards.
  • Foster a high-performing, accountable, and collaborative team culture through coaching and development of management-level staff.
  • Champion a culture of innovation, problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner cross-functionally with other departments, including sales, to ensure exceptional claim resolution and client service.
Qualifications
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in operations management within service-based sectors (e.g., hospitality, real estate, travel, or insurance).
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams of managers/leaders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Finance, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Demonstrated financial ownership and P&L management.
  • Strong change management skills with the ability to drive performance and adoption in dynamic environments.
  • Advanced communication, delegation, and prioritization skills.
  • Proficient with CRM systems (HubSpot experience is an asset) and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with a solution-oriented and growth-driven mindset.
  • A collaborative leader with a practical, people-first approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
