Job summary

A leading procurement consulting firm is looking for a Senior Manager – Sourcing & Global Procurement. This role is based in Toronto and requires 7-10 years of experience in global procurement, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and a proven ability to manage supplier relationships effectively. The successful candidate will influence sourcing decisions, drive cost savings, and develop complex contract strategies. A post-secondary education in Finance or a related field is required. This is an onsite position that aims to achieve significant financial targets.

Qualifications

  • 7-10 years’ experience in sourcing and global procurement.
  • Understanding of procurement law and/or regulations.
  • Experience leading complex deals with total contract value of $3 Million or more.

Job Title: Senior Manager – Sourcing & Global Procurement

Location: Toronto, ON (Onsite)

Duration: 12 + Months

Daily Responsibilities

Working with the Director, Sourcing Execution and the Manager, Sourcing Execution, this role will influence sourcing decisions, drive supplier consolidation, cost savings and cost avoidance efforts. This role will partner with senior management to proactively develop negotiation and contract strategies for high‑risk/complex and sensitive sourcing initiatives. This role will gather and analyze data to create playbooks and strategies to support the different business models for services contemplated or currently under contract and prepare findings for senior management. This role will develop and negotiate complex (strategically critical, high value, or high risk) contract strategies that will provide cost‑effective, sustainable solutions to Client businesses, and optimize total value generated from Client’s supplier base.

Must Have Skills
  • 7‑10 years’ experience
  • Experience in global procurement, sourcing and relationship management
  • Understanding of procurement law and/or regulations
  • Leads complex deals with a total contract value $3Million or more
  • Business and Financial Acumen
  • Strong Negotiation skills
  • Strong contract acumen
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Experience in leading and supporting stakeholder interactions/relationships
