Job description

• Provide guidance during the development of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services
• Conduct quality review of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services
• Working closely with IT stakeholders, assist in the development of procurement artefacts for technology goods and services
• Conduct review and assessment of existing IT contracts (goods & services) and provide recommendations as appropriate.
• Consult, analyze and evaluate existing IT contracts, and document contractual requirements for net contracts and renewals
• Identify contract lifecycle, including schedule, renewal, expirations
• Develop (and track) contract (procurement) status
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing with stakeholders
• Interpret, apply and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures
• Meet schedules and time lines
• Be a flexible, resourceful and creative problem solver
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized degree or diploma in an IT related discipline or an equivalent combination of education, certification and experience
• Minimum 10 (ten) years of Information Technology industry experience
• Minimum 5 (five) years of experience developing and managing technology contracts (goods and services)
• Minimum 5 (five) years experience writing procurement and contract artefacts for technology goods and services.
• Minimum 3 (three) years experience as an IT operations manager.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills
• Ability to analyze complex contract requirements
• Strong attention to detail
