Job summary

A leading telecom solutions provider is seeking an MPLS Telecom E5 Engineer to support and design mission-critical IP/MPLS networks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecom engineering with at least 10 years of experience and expertise in traffic engineering and system architecture. This hybrid position is open for local candidates in Canada with preference for those with relevant certifications. The role includes planning major projects and ensuring system reliability while developing engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of telecom engineering experience, including 5 years in IP/MPLS QoS.
• Strong knowledge of IP/MPLS architectures and QoS mechanisms.
• Experience with Nokia IP/MPLS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, and support IP/MPLS networks for critical applications.
• Develop and maintain IP/MPLS QoS and traffic engineering architectures.
• Coordinate schedules, budgets, and contractor deliverables.
