Job description
Overview

Geo-Structural Engineer (Helical Pile Design Specialist)

Location: Canada or USA (Remote + In-Person Hybrid in Ontario if possible). Must be a P.Eng. or PE with stamp eligibility across multiple provinces or states. Actual salary depends on experience and expertise.

Mission

We are rebuilding what helical pile design can be. We’re building tools, automations, content, and systems that empower contractors and manufacturers, turning manual, error-prone processes into a technical masterpiece. We have in-house proprietary automations and a system running; we need you to help scale it further.

Who You Are
  • You’re a rockstar in helical pile design with 5+ years of experience.
  • You embrace complexity and solve the "unsolvable".
  • You are tech-obsessed: Python, AI tools, data flow, system thinking, not just AutoCAD.
  • You work fast and deliver high-quality results.
  • You’ve been called the best engineer by colleagues.
  • You reduce friction in workflows and fix issues quickly.
  • You can write proposals, engage with contractors and manufacturers, and design piles.
  • You not only meet targets but automate the process to exceed them.
Who You Are Not
  • Someone who clocks out at 5pm or requires constant handholding.
  • Someone who settles for “good enough” instead of excellence.
  • Someone who avoids responsibility or relies on entitlement.
  • Someone who seeks a job rather than a mission.
What Drives You
  • High ambition and a drive to become the best in design speed, innovation, and leadership.
  • Kindness, empathy, and emotional professionalism.
  • Thriving in chaos and turning it into clarity.
  • Ability to work independently and outperform teams when needed.
  • Willingness to work late when in flow and build with practical means.
  • Desire to build the plane while flying it, bringing your own duct tape.
Technical Requirements
  • Licensed P.Eng. (Canada) or PE (USA)
  • Eligible for stamp approval in multiple provinces or states
  • 5+ years experience with helical pile design
  • Strong familiarity with CSA and ASTM standards
  • Ability to perform and check detailed design work independently

Bonus if you’ve:

  • Developed internal design tools or automation
  • Worked with manufacturing or installation teams
  • Built or scaled internal systems in a growing firm
  • Have Python, JavaScript, or AI/workflow automation experience
This Role Involves
  • Performing helical pile design on tight timelines and complex sites
  • Contributing to automation software development and design logic
  • Meeting with contractors, listening deeply, and solving real problems
  • Creating technical content, training modules, and internal tools
  • Helping to scale the company into a market leader
  • Thriving in a high-trust, high-accountability, no-BS team
Benefits and Compensation
  • Strong salary, flexible work structure, and high growth potential
  • A meaningful role in redefining this market
  • Extended health care, dental, vision, RRSP match, paid time off, flexible schedule
  • Voice at the table and leadership that believes in people
