Responsibilities
  • Leverage data to develop and optimize fraud strategies, including KYC/B, OFAC, and fraud risk management
  • Conduct root cause analyses on individual fraud events and develop effective fraud defenses
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to implement fraud policies and features
  • Monitor fraud risk metrics and develop strategies to mitigate risk factors
  • Partner with data scientists to build and utilize fraud risk models within Ramp’s risk policy
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fraud risk management or a quantitative strategy role
  • Minimum 5 years of experience using SQL, Python, or R for data retrieval and manipulation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in high-growth startups
  • Background in consumer/corporate/small business cards, payments, invoices, lending, or related industries
