They are looking for a who will be responsible for providing financial insight to operations in Canada and integrate sales performance data into the company's financial strategy. Responsibilities will span across Business Analytics, Decision Support & Business Partnering, Process Improvement & Financial Analysis and Reporting.

About the Opportunity
  • Develop and maintain dashboards in Tableau and advanced models in Excel to track operational and financial performance.
  • Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Conduct scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and profitability studies to support strategic planning.
  • Collaborate with leadership, sales, and operations teams to assess business performance and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Support investment cases, pricing models, and resource allocation decisions with data-driven analysis.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management by interpreting business results and making recommendations.
  • Streamline financial and analytical processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Implement best practices in financial modeling, reporting, and data visualization.
  • Contribute to automation and digital transformation initiatives within Finance.
  • Enter data into the accounting system (accounts payable, representative expense accounts).
  • Reconcile credit card with bills.
  • Ensures inventory balances and finds anomalies.
  • Complete various financial and accounting reports at the Controller's request (commissions, monthly goals, Car stock reps etc).
  • Actively participate in the monthly closing of accounts.
  • Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements in accordance with CPA standards.
  • Monitor financial performance versus forecasts, budgets, and key performance indicators.
  • Support and assist the Financial Controller with various accounting and financial management tasks.
  • Identify trends, variances, and risks to provide meaningful commentary to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of files for year-end audits.
