Our client, a rapidly growing FinTech company located in Kitchener, is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their growing team. This newly created role reports into the Director of Finance, with a focus on reporting, implementing process improvements, financial analysis and other ad hoc projects. This is a great opportunity to join a tight knit team that can provide lots of career development and growth potential. They offer a hybrid work model of 2 days in office, 3 from home.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated monthly management reporting, including income statement, balance sheet, cash flow and financial KPIs
• Develop tools and systems to improve automation and efficiency
• Assist with special financial projects
• Prepare and post corporate journal entries, as well as reconcile inter-company balances
• Prepare annual audit working papers
• Play a key role in finance projects and work on complex financial analysis
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• CPA is required
• 3 plus years experience in public accounting and be looking to move into industry
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
