Description
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cybersecurity measures to protect service infrastructure and data.
  • Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other security regulations.
  • Develop secure and high‑quality production code and review and debug code written by others.
  • Minimize security vulnerabilities by following industry insights and governmental regulations to continuously evolve security protocols, including creating processes to determine the effectiveness of current controls.
  • Lead incident response and breach investigations, ensuring quick and effective resolution.
  • Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, and adjust security strategies accordingly.
  • Provide expert guidance on cybersecurity best practices and HIPAA compliance to internal teams.
  • Develop and conduct cybersecurity training and awareness programs within the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on healthcare applications.
  • Formal training or certification on secure and compliant product feature delivery concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
  • Skilled in planning, designing, and implementing enterprise‑level security solutions.
  • Advanced in one or more programming languages.
  • Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience with network security, encryption, threat modeling, discovery, vulnerability, and penetration testing.
  • Experience with various security tools and products (firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection systems, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001) and other compliance regulations (GDPR, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
  • Professional cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, etc.) are highly desirable.
  • Experience in cybersecurity initiatives within healthcare providers/businesses is a plus.
