Qualifications

• 5+ years of financial accounting experience in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or ASPE.
• Experience with consolidation and multi-currency transactions.

The Senior Analyst – Financial reporting challenges in a Few Words :

To support our financial operations on an international scale, we are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst – Financial Reporting responsible for consolidated financial reporting and leading our monthly consolidation process. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will maintain high-quality financial information and contribute to evolving our processes and controls to support the Group's growth.

Responsibilities

• Executing the consolidation of multiple entities in different currencies into the group financial statements in line with ASPE.
• Reviewing entity financials for accuracy prior to consolidation.
• Participating in monthly profit-sharing allocations.
• Presenting financial results by region.
• Performing variance analysis on consolidated balance sheets and P&L, investigating significant discrepancies.
• Preparing annual financial statements, footnotes, and disclosures.
• Preparing monthly internal reports for the FP&A group.
• Corporate compliance:
• Implementing transfer pricing strategies as determined by the tax group.
• Supporting the coordination of the annual group audit.
• Acting as a contact for North American audit teams.
• Collaborating with external auditors and providing documentation during audits.
• Supporting other compliance initiatives.
• Complex & Technical accounting :
• Developing, documenting, and communicating group-wide accounting policies in line with ASPE.
• Assisting local finance teams in understanding and applying these policies.
• Assessing accounting implications of complex transactions and preparing related documentation.
• Controls and process improvement :
• Collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment in financial reporting.
• Proposing and implementing improvements in consolidation and reporting processes.
• Managing the Group’s chart of accounts and building reports in reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA or equivalent certification.
• At least 5 years of financial accounting experience in a multinational environment, handling multi-currency and intercompany transactions.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, or ASPE.
• Experience in consolidation and familiarity with ERP systems like D365 is an asset.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, adaptable, and flexible.
• Excellent communication skills in English and French, both spoken and written.
