What you’ll be doing

The Senior Analyst, Analytics and Risk, will play a critical role in delivering high-quality analytics and risk analysis and reporting for our clients. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented and analytical professional with strong experience in risk measurement and attribution analysis within the asset management industry. The Senior Analyst will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, client services teams, and senior leadership to provide actionable insights and ensure the integrity of performance data.

How you’ll succeed

  • Risk Analysis: Prepare risk reports for multiple asset classes such as equities, fixed income, currency, alternative funds. Scenario analysis and stress testing.
  • Attribution Analysis: Conduct detailed performance attribution analysis to identify the sources of return at the portfolio, strategy, and security levels. Communicate findings to portfolio managers and senior leadership.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present performance reports to internal and external stakeholders, including clients, portfolio managers, and senior management. Update databases on a monthly and quarterly basis with required performance data. Understanding of GIPS compliance and composite reporting.
  • Data Management: Maintain and enhance the performance database, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of data. Collaborate closely with the data management and accounting teams to address any discrepancies in transactions or valuations that could impact performance.
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements in risk measurement, reporting, and analysis. Leverage technology to streamline workflows and enhance efficiency.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as a subject matter expert on performance analytics for client meetings and presentations. Address client queries and provide custom performance analysis as needed.

Who you are

  • You’re a certified professional. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field. Master’s degree or progress towards CFA or CIPM designation is a plus.
  • You can demonstrate your experience and familiarity with performance measurement and attribution tools. 1-3 years of experience in risk analysis, preferably within asset management or a related financial services industry. Knowledge of performance attribution models is a plus.
  • You're digitally savvy. You seek out innovative solutions and embrace evolving technologies. Advanced Excel skills are mandatory. Experience with programming languages such as Python, VBA, SQL, and Power BI is a plus.
  • You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems and making sense of information. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
