Overview

Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist role at Amphenol Communications Solutions in Markham, Ontario. Location: Markham, Canada. Wage: Depends on Experience. Position Type: Full Time.

Responsibilities

The top priorities are keeping up to date with calls and reports and dealing with past-due accounts. The ideal candidate will be able to handle pressure and work independently in a fast-paced environment. A people-oriented person who can communicate at high levels would be best suited. The performance will be measured by how quickly payments are collected from the shipment date, timeliness and accuracy of month-end processes, and the amount of past-due invoices. Monthly financial reporting, cash application, and GL support will be necessary. Opportunities for advancement could include an Accountant or Senior Collection Specialist, depending on the individual's interest and educational background.

  • Posting cash receipts to invoices
  • Preparing invoices, credit notes and releasing of ship sets
  • Setting up new customer accounts and running credit checks
  • Making daily calls / emails to due accounts and following up on overdue accounts
  • Preparing accounts receivable related reports to sister companies
  • Working with customers, marketing, and sales departments
  • Other related duties as required
Qualifications
