As a Senior Accounting Advisor, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:
Provide accounting support and financial analysis for the PPI subsidiary, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external standards.
Collaborate with corporate finance teams to align reporting and budgeting processes.
Participate in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
Support audits and internal controls, ensuring transparency and reliability of financial data.
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the accounting function.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is known for their strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Stands out for their attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Demonstrates strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Is recognized for their ability to collaborate across teams and communicate financial insights clearly.
Has 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis, ideally in the insurance or financial services sector.
Advanced proficiency in English, as the role involves providing guidance for complex accounting matters to English-speaking internal partners across Canada via email and videoconference on a weekly basis.
The person may be required to travel occasionally to Calgary.
