Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant – Corporate & Business Taxation located in Markham, ON. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns, providing tax & estate planning advice, and ensuring compliance with the latest tax regulations. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their financial situations, preparing financial statements, and offering strategic tax solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and review of corporate tax returns (T2) and financial statements for owner-managed businesses.
  • Provide advanced tax planning strategies for corporations, partnerships, and family-owned enterprises.
  • Advise on corporate structuring, succession planning, and tax-efficient strategies for retained earnings.
  • Collaborate with team to integrate accounting and tax solutions into broader financial plans.
  • Stay current on Canadian tax legislation and regulatory changes affecting businesses.
  • Manage client relationships with professionalism and confidentiality, ensuring high levels of trust and service.
