The Senior Accountant is essential in delivering accounting and tax compliance engagements while meeting expectations for budget, timelines, and quality. In this position, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with clients, participate in meetings, and contribute to their business strategy and decision-making processes.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Communicating with clients and team members to ensure the successful completion of client engagements.
  • Conducting client-specific research as needed.
  • Preparing working papers and tax returns.
  • Participating in client and team meetings.
  • Researching assigned topics to enhance the firms knowledge base.
  • Continuously identifying opportunities for additional services with existing clients and proactively advancing these opportunities within the firm.
Required Experience, Qualifications, and Characteristics:
  • 2+ years of public practice experience
  • Familiarity with the challenges faced by small to medium-sized businesses
  • Independent, highly motivated, and a self-starter
  • Strong multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple clients simultaneously
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) with a commitment to maintaining open and transparent dialogue with colleagues and clients
