The UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors. If your experience is in a day-to-day or casual capacity, ensure you list the length of time you worked for that supervisor and specify whether the assignment was casual, day-to-day, or long-term occasional.
Placement Teacher References: If providing a Placement Teacher as a reference, the UCDSB will require confirmation and approval from the Principal at the Placement School that the deferred reference (Placement Teacher) is approved to provide a reference on behalf of the Principal. The UCDSB does not accept colleagues or personal relationships as references.
The UCDSB selection process includes a review of required qualifications, interview and assessment process, and reference checks. All employment offers are conditional on candidates providing a valid criminal record check for the vulnerable sector.
