Overview

This role supports tax preparation and customer service for clients using Intuit TurboImpôt (TurboTax). The position is virtual and customer-facing, requiring the use of video and audio tools and careful documentation of all interactions.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients in completing their income tax returns using Intuit TurboImpôt, providing tax guidance and reviewing personal tax returns for customers who file themselves, preparing complete tax returns, and managing product / software inquiries to accelerate Prosperity goals.
- Research and provide accurate answers to clients using government websites, professional resources, and team expertise, in terms they will understand.
- Engage in a virtual, client-facing role using our video communication software and document interactions to maintain precise records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of paid professional tax preparation experience.
- Willing to provide CRA RepID (representative identifier) to enable use of CRA Represent a Client service upon onboarding.
- Experience using professional tax software to prepare and file personal tax returns, including complex elements such as employment, self-employment, rental income, investments, forms like T1135, foreign income, and various credits / deductions.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with clients via video and audio tools professionally, friendly, and confidently.
- Willing and able to work a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week.
- Proficiency in English is required. Seasonal Tax Experts will interact with clients across Canada, including anglophone clients; the role involves tax preparation, tax advice, and client questions.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience preparing corporate tax returns (T2) and Quebec tax returns (TP1).

Compensation & Benefits
Intuit offers a competitive compensation package with a pay-for-performance approach. Base pay ranges (per hour) by location vary by region, and range details are provided in the posting.
