Job description
Overview

Cavendish Farms is looking for a SEASONAL Forklift Operator to join the Farm Team for a period of around 3 weeks, 10-14 hours per day. Expected start date is Mid September. The exact start date and period of work will be dependent on weather and business needs.
Work location: 432 Hardy Rd, Timber River, NB or 1030 Greeno Rd, Chapman Settlement, NS.
Bonus: a bonus of up to $2.50 per hour is available upon completion of the season. It is based on performance, attendance, and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Safely operate forklift.
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
  • Use forklift to place pallets/boxes near running equipment in tight quarters.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations to maintain a safe and sustainable work environment.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
  • All other related duties as assigned.
