Description

The Sales Specialist role will be responsible for driving revenue growth by deeply understanding customer needs, delivering tailored technical solutions, and clearly articulating the value and competitive advantages of our products and services. This role plays a critical part in supporting the Account Management and Inside Sales teams to identify, qualify, and convert opportunities. Success in this position will be achieved by leveraging technical expertise to conduct compelling demonstrations, provide strategic insights throughout the sales cycle, and offer technical guidance during negotiations—ultimately enhancing the overall customer and sales experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understand customer requirements and align our product and service offerings to their business challenges.
  • Provide expert technical guidance throughout the sales cycle, addressing customer questions and ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations that showcase the value, features, and benefits of our solutions.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify, qualify, and advance opportunities by offering technical insights and participating in sales discussions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop customized proposals tailored to client-specific needs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and long-term loyalty.
  • Provide technical input and risk assessments to support sales strategies, pricing discussions, and contract negotiations.
  • Liaise with engineering and product teams to communicate customer requirements, resolve technical issues, and support smooth implementations.
  • Create and deliver technical documentation, such as user guides, specifications, and training materials.
  • Support post-sales activities, including troubleshooting, onboarding, and training, to ensure successful adoption of solutions.
  • Share market intelligence and customer insights with product and marketing teams to shape offerings and messaging.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer engagements.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
  • 5+ years of experience in sales engineering, customer success, sales, or customer service in a B2B software environment (SaaS experience preferred).
  • Corporate law experience is highly valued, ideally gained as a clerk, paralegal, or lawyer, with exposure to legal technology.
  • Post-secondary education in business, accounting, law, or a related field—or equivalent legal industry experience.
  • Strong ability to communicate, present, and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executive and C-level.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn and master product functionality to effectively deliver demos, training, and value propositions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Self-motivated and passionate about exceeding customer expectations.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% (for client trainings, meetings, and conferences).
