Sales Representative - Avionics Solutions

AEM has a well-established reputation providing special mission aviation solutions designed and manufactured with a strong customer focus which sets us apart from other OEMs. We are a global leader in the design, development, and manufacture of special mission radios, audio systems, avionics consoles, loud speaker systems, lighted panels and caution panels. Our proven offerings of unique, flexible, and easily customizable solutions developed in consultation with integrators and operators is key to our success.

We are experiencing strong year over year sales growth due to our investments in new products and services. We have an opening for a driven, product savvy and customer centric sales rep to join our sales team with a proven track record of driving sales growth.

Based out of Kelowna, British Columbia, AEM is a Transport Canada approved manufacturer and is ISO9001/AS9100D certified. We have a new, vertically integrated manufacturing facility which includes research & development, product manufacturing, quality assurance, repairs, support, and sales & marketing capabilities. You will be targeting sales growth through customers (end users and dealers), developing sales opportunities with current territory as Canada and eastern USA. Hence, this role will be most suitable for a sales rep with a proven track record residing anywhere in the territory.

About the Role
We are seeking a driven and strategic Sales Representative to grow our customer base and expand market presence within an assigned territory. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives on building relationships, executing targeted sales strategies, and closing deals in a technical, solutions-based environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a direct sales approach within an assigned territory, including researching competitors, developing territory plans, and implementing strategies to close new business.
  • Plan and deliver targeted sales campaigns to grow the AEM customer base, primarily through on-site customer visits, 1:1 engagement via phone, email, training dealers and operators and participation in trade shows.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by developing a deep understanding of AEM’s products, solutions, value propositions and meeting customers needs.
  • Accurately maintain customer, opportunity, and pipeline data in CRM while leveraging data analytics to inform sales decisions and performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales & Marketing and R&D teams to align customer needs with product capabilities and solutions.
