A leading engineering firm in Southwestern Ontario is seeking a Sales Engineer for the Civil Infrastructure market. You will be the main contact for customers, developing sales strategies and expanding revenue through engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills. This role offers flexible hours, profit-sharing, and growth opportunities within a collaborative team environment.
Voyis designs and manufactures high performance underwater optical sensors (lasers, cameras, lights) for robotic inspection vehicles to enhance the visibility and understanding of civil infrastructure. Our systems provide detailed visual and 3D data to support the assessment of critical assets such as bridges, dams, tunnels, and water intake structures, even in low-visibility or confined spaces. By delivering precise, real-time insight into structural conditions, Voyis helps engineers and asset owners make informed decisions about maintenance and safety. Our mission is to bring clarity to the world’s most inaccessible environments, promoting safety and enabling every inspection vehicle to see complex infrastructure as clearly as we see it on the surface.
Our underwater laser scanners, cameras and lights are proudly designed, engineered, and built in Waterloo, Canada. Voyis operates independently under ownership of Covelya Group.
In the role of Sales Engineer – Civil Infrastructure at Voyis, you will be the first point of contact for all our customers and partners in the Civil Infrastructure market vertical and will be the driving force in developing a solution to solve their inspection requirements using Voyis’ products and capabilities. In the Sales Engineer – Civil Infrastructure role, you will report to our Head of Market but will be responsible for developing a market strategy, identifying/engaging targeted accounts, and expanding revenue generated in the Civil Infrastructure industry.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, takes initiative, and works hard to deliver results, while fully taking ownership of managing Voyis’ growth in the Civil Infrastructure industry. Prior sales experience is not required for the role; however, we are looking for a candidate who is open to engaging in a collaborative, education-based sales approach with a reasonable technical foundation. We are a small team with loads of exciting opportunities, and everyone is encouraged to step outside of their defined role to help us achieve our goals together.
