We're hiring our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) to generate new business opportunities. You'll be on the frontlines of our growth: identifying prospects, starting conversations, and booking qualified meetings for our senior sales and leadership team.

This role is ideal for someone who is curious about technology, confident in outreach, and eager to learn B2B sales.

Responsibilities
  • Research and identify potential customers in Winnipeg and across North America (manufacturing, finance, logistics, services).
  • Conduct outbound outreach via LinkedIn, email, and phone to start conversations with decision-makers (CFOs, IT Managers, Operations Leaders).
  • Qualify leads by understanding their current systems, challenges, and needs around data migration, integration, or reporting.
  • Book and schedule discovery meetings for the leadership team.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM (HubSpot / Pipedrive / Salesforce or similar).
  • Collaborate with marketing and leadership to refine messaging, sequences, and target lists.
  • Track and report on outreach KPIs (touches, responses, meetings booked).
What We're Looking For
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or business development (B2B preferred, but not required).
  • Strong communication skills: clear, concise, and confident on the phone, email, and LinkedIn.
  • Resilient and motivated: comfortable with rejection and driven to hit activity goals.
  • Tech-curious: interest in AI, data, and cloud technology (training provided).
  • Organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple prospects and follow-ups.
  • Self-starter attitude, comfortable in a startup environment.
Nice to Have
  • Prior experience in SaaS, IT services, or technology sales.
  • Familiarity with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, CRM systems, or outbound sales tools.
  • Background or exposure to industries like manufacturing, construction, or finance.
