A leading technology firm in Vancouver is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive Rivery integrations within current accounts. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in ETL and sales methodologies to foster relationships with C-level executives, support sales forecasting, and ensure the successful upselling of products. This position offers competitive compensation ranging from $190,000 to $230,000 CAD annually.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with ETL/ELT and/or Modern Data Stack tools required.
  • Strong skills in relationship selling needed.
  • Experience in MEDDPICC sales methodology advantageous.
  • Professional fluency in French and Spanish is a plus.

In December 2024 Boomi acquired Rivery, a SaaS ELT order to support rapid enablement of the Rivery sales cycle differentiators and processes to 200 Boomi salespeople. The Rivery sales team became a specialist overlay team to the global org. This means that we give primary AE or AM responsibility to work the prospect or client to the core Boomi salesperson, and the Rivery Specialist role is to actively assist the Boomi AE/AM through the new sales and renewals/upsells processes.

This is a unique role that comprises both sales understanding and deep product/industry knowledge and expertise.

How Youll Make An Impact
  • Support commercial and enterprise sales teams to upsell Rivery to current Boomi accounts and to sell Rivery to current net new logo accounts.
  • Become an expert in the Rivery sales playbook, sales processes, POC best practices, competitive differentiators, and pricing methodologies in order to assist the Boomi AEs in implementing these best practices.
  • Work with the Enablement team to support the phased enablement of these Boomi sales teams to be as self-sufficient as possible over the course of 2025 in selling Rivery, in order to scale your efforts as much as possible.
What Youll Do
  • Act as a trusted business advisor to C-level business audiences as you use your in-depth knowledge of Boomi and Rivery technology products and services to help customers formulate strategy and direction.
  • Utilize strategic probing to identify, evaluate, design, and propose business solutions.
  • Design appropriate post-sale implementation plans.
  • Analyze multiple market factors to both anticipate and identify customer problems/needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Engage cross-functional resources in order to achieve goals and meet customer needs.
  • Develop and implement account plans that drive the attainment of critical business objectives.
  • Earn prospective customers’ confidence by demonstrating expertise, professionalism, and reliability throughout sales engagement.

To align your activities with Boomis sales and business objectives you will assist Boomi reps to:

  • Accurately forecast future sales.
  • Execute on pipeline and bookings growth strategies.
  • Track & report on critical sales and account metrics.
  • Conduct Territory Planning.
The Experience You Bring
  • Prior experience with ETL/ELT and/or Modern Data Stack tools is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Professional French and Spanish language skills are very nice to have.
  • 2 years experience in relationship selling.
  • MEDDPICC sales methodology.

Compensation

Boomi is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The On Target Earnings (OTE) ranges from $190000 - $230000 CAD annually (inclusive of commission). Final compensation will be determined by various factors including the candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
