PGL Environmental Consultants (PGL) is seeking an experienced Risk Assessor with demonstrated expertise in human health and ecological risk assessments (HH/Eco RAs) for contaminated sites. We offer a flexible 37.5-hour work week, with the option to work from home or from any of our offices in Vancouver, Langley, Victoria, Calgary, or Whitby.
This is an intermediate to senior technical role involving the interpretation of complex environmental data, regulatory submissions, and scientific risk communication. You’ll lead diverse projects across BC and Alberta, with particular focus on work involving First Nations communities, federal agencies, and private-sector clients.
In addition to technical project delivery, the Risk Assessor will be expected to support and guide junior and entry-level staff, and contribute to business development and marketing efforts, including preparing proposals and work plans, delivering presentations, attending networking events and seminars, and fostering strong client relationships. An interest in growing your involvement in business development is considered a strong asset.
