• Location: Powell River, BC V8A 3R8
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $25.00 per hour (40 hours per week)
• Terms of employment: Permanent employment Full time

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff (apprentices, stage hands, design team, etc.)
• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Authorize payments by cheque
• Order merchandise
• Authorize return of merchandise
• Establish work schedules
• Sell merchandise
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventorySupervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Manage cash
• Conduct performance reviews
• Supervise office and volunteer staff

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in retail or related field
• Must be authorized to work in Canada
